so I was watching The Decoy Bride with my sister tonight. i’m not a fan of romantic comedies at all but I LOVE this movie. So much. We were basically fangirling the entire time over Tennant and Kelly. They’re just so brilliant together!
basically whenever they had a moment, said something cool, or did this:
Starring David Tennant, Kelly MacDonald, and Alice Eve.
I generally don’t watch rom-coms because they’re predictable and the female protagonist almost always gets on my nerves. Then I saw that David Tennant was in the cast, and I thought ‘Eh, might as well give it a shot.’
“So I sent an e-mail to 7 of my friends, including Sarah, and I said, ‘Does anyone want to go see ‘Lost in Translation’ tonight?’ and then I sent an e-mail immediately afterwards to the 6 of my friends who weren’t Sarah and I said, ‘NOT YOU.’”—John Green, on how he asked out his wife for the first time (via saddest-summer)
There is no sorority type. We’re all different people. We’re all our own types. It’s because of women who try so hard to fit into the “sorority type” that the rest of us get the bad reputation. Be who YOU are. Impressions last a life time, and I’ll be damned if you ruin mine.
Just look at me! I’m so geeky I think it ought to be a crime. But I joined a sorority and it was a fabulous experience! TFJ
I’m geeky/nerdy exuberant girl that hates drinking, and has never been to a college party because they make me nervous. I love ScienceFiction and everything about it, I love manga and anime. I love looking at hot guys, I have crushes on fictional characters. I wish I could get lost in space meet a bunch of aliens and somehow find out what space smells like. I love to sit in my room and do nothing, sometimes I really hate socializing.
I do not fit the stereotypical “Sorority Type” But I LOVE absolutely LOVE being a sorority girl. My sisters Seriously mean everything to me, even the ones I’ve never met, may never meet, and the ones that i don’t necessarily get along with very well (it hasn’t happened yet, but hey we’re all human theres always someone you aren’t crazy about). I am a sorority girl because i love being apart of something that makes me feel like I am more than a girl from East Podunk Wisconsin. I am important to them, as they are to me. I love my sisters. A Freaking Lot. And I don’t have to be a certain person for them to love me in return. Best, and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made.
Throw what you know and be DAMN proud of who YOU are.
