For decades, New York’s Algonquin Hotel has carried on a tradition of having a resident cat that roams freely around the premises. The current mascot is Matilda, and on August 11, 2010, the hotel celebrated her birthday by throwing a charity fashion show…starring other cats. Here, see some of the hilarious looks — and the even funnier faces — worn by the feline guests. Here, a cat named Wizard who was clearly forced into this Raggedy Ann outfit.
( I know it’s 8pm and should have done this earlier, but i needed to gather my thoughts)
I am thankful for God guiding me to Marian, even though other colleges offered me more in scholarships and academics.
I am thankful that the sorority girls are spunky and fun and sparked my curiosity in joining.
I am thankful for not having anyone to sit with that one day at dinner, which made me sit with two random people I didn’t know - and one of them becoming a very very close friend(andsister) of mine, Janell.
I am thankful for Marian making us take a theology class, because otherwise I wouldn’t have met Heather before joining AXiD and wouldn’t have gotten terribly close to her before hand.
I am thankful for Hockey games on Friday nights because thats when I get to spend the most time with Kelsey.
I am thankful for those three being the spunkiest and funniest and the perfect three friends anyone could ask for.
I am thankful (can’t believe i’m saying this) for our hot fun and sexy foursome, because they make my day, and my life every single day. I do not know where I would be without them. All of my sisters are amazing, but especially those three.
I am thankful for AXiD for already helping me create a bigger network of friendssisters that will always love me, not because they have too, but because they want too. Thus, I am thankful for having so many people to love in return.
I am thankful for Gina, and for Cody for sticking by me through the thickest and the thinnest parts of life; moving, middle school, losses, high school, and the adjustment of becoming an adult.
I am thankful for my dear Steven for loving me even though I can be a crabby bitch when he is being charming and sweet.
And lastly, I am thankful for my parents, and for their parents, for giving me the strength, and the motivation to live my life to the best possible degree that I can, while still trying my hardest in everything that I do.
So I’ve been cleaning all day (9a-8p) . More like busting my ass while mom was at work (understandable) and my dad sat on his ass and or did pointless things that didn’t help all day.
I close myself in my bedroom, knowing that I have a few more things to do. I’m tired. I’ve mopped every hardwood floor and tile. Cleaned the entire kitchen including the tops of the cabinets (which is beastly work i’m telling you). Got the disgusting embedded stains out of the carpet, dusted the house, cleaned the dining room, office and my own room. Plus, I even decorated (every day has to have a bit of fun right?). All of this took the entire day minus a trip to Menards to get hardwood cleaner.
I’m just now taking a break (8:30p), waiting for my dinner to finish cooking.
I closed my door.
What does my dad do?
Knock on my door, fine. He wants to tell me about something.
What does he say?
I think your bathroom needs to be cleaned, since family is coming over.
OH MY GOD NO WAY! THAT WASN’T THE MOST OBVIOUS THING IN THE WORLD.
Shit man, I had NO idea that my/theguest bathroom needed to be cleaned.
